today in my life

i feel bad that i haven't posted in forever so here's a run down on my martin luther king day in beautiful seattle, wa:

-slept in and woke up to the sun
-attempted to clean and organize my room which just turned into an "organized" disaster
-had an awesome sweaty disgusting workout at the gym
-came home and had "just enough" left over phad thai - heaven!
-showered
-going to be getting ready
-wanting to head down to starbucks and work on my cover letters and interest letters for potential college's i would love to work for
-head over to krissy's for a "bachelor" date with the fiersome foursome.

this is going to be a good day.

I love you, Grandpa.



LEIFER, Clyde Laverne
Passed away January 1, 2009 in the presence of his loving family after a long and wonderful life. He was born January 16, 1918 at Sunset, Washington to Irvin and Anna (Mills) Leifer and grew up on the family farm in Pine City where he farmed until he retired. He married Helen Gordon in December 1941 and they just celebrated their 67th year of marriage. Clyde's greatest joy was in being with his family and friends. He took pride in teaching his children about farming and training the ponies. He loved sharing celebrations with all in his family. He enjoyed ball games and the post game "discussions." And he especially enjoyed the little children and babies. Fishing with his friends was also very special for him. Clyde was preceded in death by his son John Leifer, grandson Lance Leifer, brothers Burdette and Bob Leifer, sisters Ione Bridges and Ina Lynch, and recently deceased sister-in-law Dorothy Leifer. He is survived by his wife Helen; brother Irv Leifer; sons and their spouses Joe and Patty Leifer, Jim and Janet Leifer, Clyde and Joyce Leifer, Ed and Brenette Leifer, Daniel and Kelley Leifer; daughters and their spousesMargaret and Dale Oliver, Marie and Ron Hahner, Laura Bonner and Dolores Cage; grandchildren Therese White, Steve Leifer, Keith Leifer, Sherman Leifer, Jeff Leifer, Wes Artz, Lexy Widman, Liz Goldsmith, Kayla Leifer, Larissa Leifer, Litney Leifer, John Vincent Cage, Brent Leifer, Anna Rose Cage, Logan Leifer, Xandrea Leifer, Heleena Leifer,Jessica Bonner, Aaron Leifer, Saylen Leifer, Emerey Leifer; great-grandchildren Allie White, Morgan Leifer, Rachel Leifer, Bethie White, Ryan Leifer, Bo Leifer, Addy Leifer, Jordyn Goldsmith, Max Leifer, Jaycee Goldsmith, John Sherman Leifer, Tanner Goldsmith, Marissa Leifer, Gus Leifer and Isabella Adazewski. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2008 at Cheney Funeral Chapel.
