These are a few pictures from my beautiful California trip. Unfortunately my camera died the second day. :( I missed out on capturing some amazing memories, but they will always be in my heart.

words.

I have come to a point in my life where I can truly say I am speechless. I used to always have something to say. I used to always want to get my opinion out in the open. I used to always know what to say - I never needed time to think before I spoke.

Now...now I don't know what to say many times. I don't have words to express myself. I sit back. I reflect. I am speechless.

I NEED words.

How is someone suppose to effect and influence another with no words? I want to encourage, I want to love, I want to help in the process of changing one's life. How is one suppose to learn without speaking? Without asking

I NEED words.

I want to express myself. I want to be effective. I want to influence. I want to be able to speak what is on my mind. I want to answer questions. I want to ask questions. I want to speak.

I NEED words.

Class Application

Lastnight was my Multicultural Perspectives class which is always somewhat frustrating -merely for the fact that it is so darn reflective so my brain hurts from thinking so much. Anyways, the class last night was focused around the influence of music that advocates for particular cultural issues. Music is such an important aspect of most cultures because it says the words we can not say outloud, it speaks of our emotions, it allows us to free our mind...it is simply beautiful.

The song I chose that reminded me of cultural advocacy is "Where is the love?" from Black Eyed Peas. It is such a touching song and really makes you think....
Okay so...I just realized I'm not sure how to put the video actually on here, but check out this site:

2 minutes and 42 seconds of craziness

I can't even believe the phenomenal athletic ability that was displayed on the field in AZ on Sunday! Wow...what a Super Bowl! I was absolutely amazing during the last 3 minutes of the game...I am not sure anyone thought that NY would come back and take the Victory! And how about that miracle of a throw from Eli after being pushed, pulled, and whatnot? Plus, that catch by one hand and helmet - wow! Definitely one of the best Super Bowl's yet!
